London & Manchester to Israel Flights: January Welcome and Update

Welcome to the first Tourist Israel UK flight update and with the credit crunch in full swing, airlines are slashing fares to Israel with sales. This month we have loads of great offers and news to report:

Jet2

A new name in flights to Israel is low-cost airline Jet2.com who are launching flights from Manchester to Tel Aviv in June. They're advertising one way fares from £63.99 all inclusive - pretty good! For more - Jet2.com

El Al

Israel's national airline El Al currently have a special offer - an economy return fare for £272. Flights must be booked before January 31, 2009 to qualify and travel must be before March 31, 2009. More can be found at this link. Flights are from Heathrow and Stansted and are two/three times daily.

BMI

are almost matching El Al's offer, advertising flights for £273 return although we've seen them on their site for slightly less. Their flights are daily from Heathrow and you can collect Star Alliance Points with BMI.

British Airways

arent advertising Tel Aviv flights as part of their January sale although their fares are coming up very similar to BMI and El Al at around the £273 mark.

Thomsonfly

Yet to release any flight schedule for the summer, the pioneer of British low-cost flights to Israel, , are still offering some great last minute deals - we've seen returns for £115 on their site! They fly three times weekly from both Luton and Manchester and won many travellers over since they began flights 18 months ago with their good flight times. That's incredible. Israir

Israir, who ran (very) low cost flights from Stansted to Tel Aviv last year proved very popular, and we are pleased to announce that they are once again flying this route this year, with flights starting again in the Spring.

This is an introductory update. Regular updates like this will be provided for flights from London and Manchester to Tel Aviv and Eilat (where appropriate) with any new offers, routes, or flight news will be posted as an when it arises. In order not to miss out, subscribe to updates either by email or RSS feed.
